how can i find what certain sports memorabilia is worth (mel ott baseball)?
I have alot of old signed baseballs from Pete Rose to the 1929 traveling all stars.
If you have a large collection, particularly including balls signed by deceased Hall Of Famers, you should consider getting it professionally appraised, for insurance purposes if nothing else.
James Spence is recognized as one of the best appraisers for signed baseball memorabilia. I’ve never used his services and therefore cannot recommend him, but check the website for an idea of what you may be getting into.
If you decide to sell and have some seriously high-condition, single-signed, deceased HOFers or other rare stuff, don’t go with eBay. There are auction houses out there that cater to high-end buyers who prefer avoiding eBay, and they are quite willing to throw out very large numbers with dollar signs and commas in them.
